Special Notes:

They inverted the pictures for the reviews of Golden Axe for the SMS and Space Harrier for the TG-16.

They spotlighted a new device called the Wideboy 2. Basically a forerunner to the Super Gameboy. The device plugged into the top of a Famicon. The device did not provide true color and only different palette colors. One interesting note is that they had a video port that would allow you to link two of them together along with two monitors for an even larger picture. However the device ran just over $500 at the time of release.

The cover story was a debate between the Sega Genesis and the NEC Turbografx-16 on which system was a better purchase. Who won you ask? To quote the magazine "While either system is sure to give hours of enjoyment, the sophistication and level of graphics and playability in the Sega titles are too good to ignore." The winner....Sega Genesis!
