Welcome to my page. This site started life as just a page devoted to my hobbies. But as I worked on it more & more I decided to change that. While there will be a part of this site for my hobbies I've decided to totally center on a gaming magazine archive site. I tooled around the net for a bit trying to find something that offered what I have - a database covering some of the longest running game magazines. At the beginning this site will deal mostly with Electronic Gaming Monthly (EGM) as my collection for it is virtually complete. After that I will add sections for Gamepro & Nintendo Power. Then some of the miscellaneous magazines that I have will be added. With the advent of classic gaming and as my passion for it grew I started wondering about older games I was picking up and what they might have been rated. So I started collecting EGM as their reviews were generally comparable to my own tastes. I intend for this site to be a reference point for gamers who are curious as to what a game was rated during it's intial release.News 10-24-06:Well I've let my webpage fall by the wayside lately. I hope to do some more updates over the winter. Mostly with my EGM scores and my personal game collection. As my collection has grown past 1200 games. 7-02-05:The EGM updates continue. My database is now up to issue 64. As soon as I hit #100 they will be posted. I figure every 50 issues I will post the updates. 6-26-05: Wow! Has it been almost FIVE months since I've updated? Well I'm currently compiling a database file for all EGM game reviews. Hope to have that done and up here by the end of the summer.I'm also going to pull the cover pages for the magazines as my space is limited and each scan was several hundred KB each.I've also added a new page devoted to my game collection. 1-29-05: I'm putting a hold on my page for the a brief time to complete a project for another site.
